Local Founders Gain Momentum in Making National Entrepreneurs' Day a National Holiday
Siamak Taghaddos was driving down the Mass Pike on his way to work when he turned his dial to all the cynics spouting news about how horrible the economy is. “No one was mentioning entrepreneurs,” he said. Taghaddos is an entrepreneur himself. He co-founded Needham, Mass.-based virtual phone system Grasshopper, a company that runs by the tagline, “Built by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs,” and employs roughly 45 people. In other words, Taghaddos has helped create 45 jobs the state wouldn't have had by starting a company that helps other budding businesses bring their company to the next level.
